Alarm level explanation: The customer has a high risk for pressure ulcers
- Skin care and hygiene
Ensure the hygiene of the target area and assess whether the skin needs to be protected from excessive moisture or moisturized
- Posture management
Aim to reduce pressure and friction in areas at risk of ulceration
- Mattress and aids
Make sure that the client has suitable aids, e.g. a special mattress and seat cushion.
