Alarm level explanation: The customer is dehydrated and also has diarrhea, vomiting, a fever or other similar symptoms. Adequate fluid intake should be guaranteed.

1.Check if the client has signs of acute dehydration Is the pulse or blood pressure higher than before or is the client confused?

2.Does the client have signs of infection? Does the client have fever, cough, diarrhea, vomiting or is the client more tired than usual?

  1. Medication

Does the client take fluid-depleting medication or other medications that can affect fluid balance? If necessary, contact a physician.

  1. Physical and cognitive barriers

Put drinks on display and make sure the customer remembers to drink.
