Cognitive decline (CPS-AI)
Alarm level explanation: The customer has cognitive impairment.
CPS-AI estimates the client’s cognition, where 0 = No Impairment 1 = Possible Mild Impairment 2 = Mild Impairment 3 = Moderate Impairment 4 = Moderate/Severe Impairment 5 = Severe Impairment 6 = Very Severe Impairment
The assessment takes into account
- the ability to understand speech and to be understood by others
- possible confusion
- memory
- decision-making ability
- the need for help with eating
The values of the CPS-AI score are usually close to the values of the CPS score (see https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8297343/), but in some situations deviate from it because CPS-AI uses daily care notes, whichs the AI reads.

Does the deterioration of cognition affect the customer’s safety? Is the customer able to security wristband? Does the customer need e.g. a door guard, a stove guard or a GPS bracelet?
